CHILDREN'S MINISTRY
Welcoming Kids Into
Worship and Community

We believe that children are capable of a deep relationship with God and we desire to see them sense his love, enjoy his presence, and experience abundant life with him. We provide space for children to worship together through the reading of God’s Word, songs, community, liturgy, and prayer.

Safe and Secure

All of our staff and volunteers are background-checked and trained in safe ministry practices in accordance with diocesan guidelines.

SUNDAY MORNING

All children's programs are offered for both the 9:00 AM and 10:45 AM worship services.
Come in any door and someone will direct you to the check-in station.

Nursery
We provide a staffed nursery for children newborn to age 1.
Drop off before the service begins and pick up at the passing of the peace.

Toddler
Toddlers ages 2-3 are invited to worship through play, community snack time, stories, song, and prayer.

Children's Chapel
Children ages 4-10 are dismissed upstairs with an adult volunteer after the Children's Collect and return for the Lord's Supper.

Ages 4-6: Children are invited to worship through songs, Bible stories, response time, and prayer.

Ages 7-10:
They learn through both the Anglican Catechism, To Be a Christian,
and a curriculum called The New City Catechism, which are both centered around teaching the
core doctrines of Christian faith. This Catechism includes a reading from Scripture,
activity, discussion questions and prayer time.

Catechesis of the good shepherd

LAUNCHING THIS FALL

CATECHESIS OF THE GOOD SHEPHERD
FOR AGES 3-9
THURSDAYS 3:30-5:15 PM

Children ages 3–9 are welcomed into our Level One and Level Two Catechesis of the Good Shepherd Atria; a Christ centered, Montessori-inspired approach to inviting children to know and encounter God. Catechists present short stories and parables from Scripture, as well as liturgical practices, in ways specifically designed to meet the spiritual needs of children and help them fully engage in Incarnation’s worship services.
